2007 Hunt Country Vidal Blanc Ice Wine Finger Lakes Estate Bottled 375 mL
Manufacturer: Hunt Country Vineyards LLC
Brand: Hunt Country
In 1988, we released our Vidal Blanc Ice Wine 1987, the first genuine ice wine broadly commercialized in the United States. It remains our marquee wine today. This delectable wine has been served at top restaurants in New York City, and was ordered by the White House for the lighting of the National Christmas Tree. It was chosen for a United Nations gala dinner, where it was paired with a stupendous maple bread pudding (recipe available on our website). Our ice wine harvest and Vidal Blanc Ice Wine have also been featured on NBC’s Today Show.
We could tell you the square footage of our winery (3,495). Or how many cases of wine we make each year (about 5,000). Or the number of years we've been in business (almost 14). More importantly, we hope you'll stop in for a glass of wine on the patio at our Hollywood Hill Tasting Room, down the road from Chateau Ste. Michelle, or visit the winery in the Warehouse District to see where the magic happens. Winemaker John Patterson creates approachable wines that reflect the new world style in winemaking. We produce more than a dozen wines, and we love to change it up so you'll never be bored. As Stephanie Cuffel, Tasting Room Manager, says, "Woodinville is a lot like an adult Disneyland! Come on down and keep your hands inside the ride at all times!"
